Funding life saving treatment
Katy lost three-year-old Joseph two days after Christmas in 2021 and she has since linked up with another mum, Gemma Lowery, who lost six year-old Bradley in 2017, to deal with their lifelong grief by funding life saving treatment and equipment for other sick children.
This weekend they are bringing thousands of people together for a charity Wales v England football match in Swansea.
Both boys had Neuroblastoma, a rare and aggressive form of childhood cancer. Despite their mothers’ relentless efforts and fundraising to access the bivalent cancer vaccine in New York, tragically, neither Joseph nor Bradley could make the journey.
