In a press conference, rescue workers shared updates on the ongoing search for survivors after a deadly flood.
The British man rescued today has not been identified, but he was one of 33 nationals unaccounted for.
The death toll from catastrophic flooding in Nepal and China has passed more than 1,000 people.
On Saturday, a rapid deployment team from the UK arrived in Nepal to provide support for Britons and their families.
The team, comprising specially trained crisis response staff, will work alongside the British embassy and local authorities.

The Sahus are some of the Brits missing after father Santosh, wife Surabhi and their two children vanished during the flood.
Their youngest, Syna Kumari Sahu, at just 13, is the youngest Briton still missing in the flooding disaster in Nepal.

Santosh’s brother Murali told WTX all his family, back in London, can do is wait by the phone for any updates and share their photo on social media.
He said: ‘We spoke for the last time over the phone on Tuesday. They were enjoying themselves in Khatmandu.
‘We really miss them. It’s been a week and we still haven’t heard anything from them. The embassy have been helping us but there is no information.’
Getting emotional, he addressed them directly: ‘For God’s sake, please call just once. We are praying for you every day.
