A man has been charged with the murder of a 93-year-old woman who was found dead at a property in Cornwall.
David Botham, 65, from Bude, has been charged with murder and is due to appear before Exeter Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
It comes after Devon and Cornwall Police were called to a report of a “concern for welfare” at an address in Cherrill Gardens, Bude, on Sunday afternoon.
“Officers and paramedics attended, and a 93-year-old woman was pronounced deceased at the scene,” a force spokesman said.
“Her next of kin have been informed.”
Detectives said they believed those involved were known to each other.
