Poland urges all of its citizens to leave Iran within next few hours | News World
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has told all citizens to evacuate Iran, warning that in just a few hours, there will be ‘no more possibility’ to do so.
It comes on the heels of a potential US attack in Iran within the next few days after nuclear talks failed to yield any progress.
‘Please leave Iran immediately… and do not go to this country under any circumstances,’ he said.
He warned that the potential for an armed conflict evacuation might no longer be possible ‘within a few hours’.
Since anti-government protests broke out in Iran in January, which saw the Ayatollah kill thousands of Iranian citizens, many countries have issued warnings against all travel to Iran.
This is the first warning of evacuation from a European country in light of the news in recent days.
Earlier this week, Trump issued a warning to Iran, telling reporters that he didn’t think Iran wants the consequences of not making a deal.
Dozens of planes are headed towards the Middle East as tensions between Iran and the US reach a breaking point after nuclear talks.
It comes as one Trump adviser told Axios: ‘The boss is getting fed up. Some people around him warn him against going to war with Iran, but I think there is 90% chance we see kinetic action in the next few weeks.’
Sources have suggested that any conflict would likely be a joint operation with Israel.
